Have you wondered how Victorian women got their cheeks so "rosey" or how they could get their waste just so in their gowns? Explore the beauty secrets and fashion of the Victorian Era with us! Visitors will learn what women used for make-up, their morning and evening routines, and how fashion changed throughout the era. Visitors will also get to see some beauty and fashion items from the museum collection at the end of the program. 

NOTE: This program is for ages 12 and older.

To kick off our regular season and to introduce our seasonal display theme, join us and explore the halls of school days past in the county! This program we will dive into the history of Humboldt Community School District, Boone Valley School District, and Rutland Township schools. Stick around after the program to see items from our collection and to check out the displays! Admission is just $5.00 for adults and children 18 and under are free!
